Choosing AEKU disposable range: budget shoppers edition

AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering verdict, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.

The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. The Midnight Black finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

Budget matters in Singapore, but with aeku disposable range the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. Comparing this against a 60:40 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.

Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.

We would pair the Uwell G2 with a 60:40 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Delivery across Singapore is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.

Comparing this against a 60:40 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 5.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1658 full puffs from a charge at 6 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.

In Singapore, availability of the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 60:40 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price.

Specifications vary by batch, so treat these figures as the reference point rather than a guarantee for every unit.

Flavour and performance notes

A representative profile is Pineapple Ice Cream: creamy, sweet, described as dairy-style pineapple dessert. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.

Practical considerations in Singapore

Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
