Portable Users guide to AEKU disposable range (on-a-budget)
AEKU disposable range advice for Singapore, covering seasonal picks, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
There is no single best aeku disposable range for everyone in Singapore, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Battery behaviour is where the Vapouriz Max earns its keep: the 1200 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 60 and recharges over Micro-USB.
There is no single best aeku disposable range for everyone in Singapore, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Pricing in Singapore shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current SGD rates rather than a fixed list price.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Midnight Black finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 40:60 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Battery behaviour is where the Vapouriz Max earns its keep: the 1200 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 60 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the Vapouriz Max with a 40:60 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Airflow control on the Vapouriz Max is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 60, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Charging over Micro-USB takes about 49 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Blueberry Muffin: creamy, sweet, described as baked blueberry with a soft crumb. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Singapore
Availability in Singapore is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and SGD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
